  • When do entries close for 2024?
    Entries are open up until midnight, Thursday 3 October. So you have until then to get signed up! But don't wait too long, all of our studios have a sign up limit - so don't risk missing out and secure your spot today.
  • When does Ignite run?
    This year Ignite will be running from Monday 7 October to Sunday 1 December, that's 8 weeks of pole dancing magic! 😍
  • How much does Ignite cost?
    Sign up to Ignite is 399 each. Now, you might be wondering, "Is it worth it?" To that, we say a resounding, "Yes!". Ignite is the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of pole with a group of other beginners just as nervous as you are, while getting the full Altitude experience alongside all of the extra perks! With 24 classes through the whole event (3 classes per week), it makes each class less than $17! Considering the extra value packed into the eight weeks we think it's an experience well worth the investment!
  • When are all the social events?
    Each studio is hosting their events at slightly different times, so make sure to check out the event page to see what's happening when. Although reminder! These are extra events that aren't required, so if your schedule doesn't line up don't let that stop you from signing up!
  • What's included in Ignite?

  • What Altitude studios is Ignite available at?
    All of our studios are running Ignite this year!   • What are the options for the Ignite top?
    Check out our dedicated page that showcases the top options! We've got two styles to pick from. Top styles should be picked prior to sign up, 'cause you'll be asked for your preference when you do.
  • How many classes and what types of classes can I attend?
    As part of Ignite 2024, you'll get access to three classes per week, allowing you to really immerse yourself in the experience. As for the classes - you can also attend any beginner-friendly classes on our regular timetable, giving you ultimate flexibility! This offers you a great opportunity to explore different styles, meet more of our fantastic instructors, and become part of our supportive and friendly community.
  • Who can sign up for Ignite?
    This event is designed specifically with beginners and non-members in mind! If you've never tried pole dancing or have yet to become part of the Altitude family, this event is a perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself in a new and exciting fitness journey. (Ignite is not available to current Altitude members)
  • Do I need to be fit or have previous pole dancing experience?
    Absolutely not! Ignite is crafted to welcome all, especially beginners. You do not need to be fit or have any previous experience in pole dancing to sign up. The program is designed in a way to gradually build up your strength, flexibility, and confidence on the pole from scratch. Remember, everyone starts somewhere and your fitness journey can begin right here, right now with Ignite with Altitude!
  • What should I wear to classes?
    For beginners participating in Ignite with Altitude, you don't need to worry too much about specific pole attire. Comfortable clothing that you can move easily in is key. Shorts and a comfortable top are perfectly suitable. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you're wearing!
  • I have no upper body strength. Can I still participate in pole dancing?
    Absolutely! Pole dancing is a full-body workout and it will help you build strength over time. You do not need to start with a high level of fitness or strength. Pole dancing is where you GET strong and Ignite with Altitude is the perfect way to give things a go.
  • What kind of moves can I expect to learn?
    You'll learn a variety of moves from spins, climbs, to pole sits, and even creating fluid dance routines. Our goal is for you to have fun while learning something new! As this is a beginner pole dancing event, you'll learn a lot of our Level 1 tricks and skills! These skills lay a foundation for all pole moves in our higher levels.
  • Is there an age limit to signing up?
    Ignite with Altitude is for any beginner, regardless of age. You're never too young or old to discover the joy of pole dancing. However, if you're under 18 please contact us to discuss parental consent. ❤️
  • I am male/non-binary/gender fluid - can I still join?
    Absolutely! Pole dancing is a wonderful form of fitness and self-expression for everyone, regardless of gender identity. Ignite with Altitude is designed for beginners, so as long as you have an interest in learning to pole dance then you're always invited to join the party!
  • Is pole dancing safe?
    Yes, your safety is our top priority. Our certified instructors ensure that you learn proper techniques and safety measures. Like any physical activity, there is a risk of injury, but we do our best to minimize that risk.
  • Will I be expected to dance in heels?
    While some people choose to dance in heels, it's by no means a requirement. Many pole dancers prefer to dance barefoot, especially when starting out. Plus our beginner Level 1 classes are taught in bare feet!
  • What happened to Altitude Attitude?
    Altitude Attitude was renamed to Ignite with Altitude in 2024! So although the name has been changed you can still expect the same awesome beginner event.
